McCurtain Elementary is recognizing R.O.C.K.S.T.A.R. students this year. R.O.C.K.S.T.A.R. stands for students who show Responsibility, Organization, Cooperation, Kindness, Safety, Trustworthiness, Accountability and Respect. Our focus in September was Organization. The McCurtain R.O.C.K.S.T.A.R. award winners for Organization were, front row: Jaycee Gros, Chance Labor, Walker Lovell, Kambrie Gailey, Makya Baker and Eevie Martin. Middle row: Kiowa Hernandez-Wingfield, Ridgley Dill, Kynlei Dill, Newt Johnson and Roxx Hume. Back row: Steven Sutton, Denise Yaws, Elizabeth Smith and Jackson Blaylock. All award winners received a certificate and lunch from McDonald’s.
