Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Eufaula Lake

Elevation normal, water clearing slowly.

Blue catfish and striped bass good on cut bait, live bait, live shad and shad below the dam and along the dam.

Crappie good on minnows and jigs below the dam, around docks and main lake.

Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on grasshoppers, plastic baits, small lures and spinnerbaits in the main lake, along shallows, standing timber and weed beds.

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir

Elevation normal, water murky.

Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, plastic baits and worms around brush structure, in coves and creek channels.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, shad, stinkbait and sunfish along channels, flats, main lake, river channel and river mouth.

Crappie slow on minnows and jigs along channels, main lake and standing timber.
