Mary Lou Dill

Mary Lou Dill, of McCurtain was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Lequire to Earnest Fairbanks and Bessie Edna (Morris) Brown Way. She passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in Fort Smith, Ark. at the age of 88.
She retired from Whirlpool after 19 and a half years and was also a member of McCurtain Freewill Baptist Church.
Mary Lou is survived by three daughters, Cathy Lyles and husband, Alan of Tulsa, Sandra Johnson and husband, Roy of McCurtain, and Dena Hays and husband, Larry of Stigler; three sons, Larry Dill and wife, Nancy of McCurtain, Benny Dill and wife, Ginger of McCurtain, and Ronnie Dill and wife, Laura of McCurtain; one sister, Frankie Moore of California; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Brown of Texas, Florence Brown of Texas and Pamela Griffin of McCurtain; one brother-in-law, Burl Dill of McCurtain; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Marvin Dill; daughter, Patsy Sue Dill; grandchildren, Jerrad (Bubba) Dill and Trenton Johnson; parents, Earnest and Bessie (Morris) Brown Way; her grandparents who raised her, Felix and Mary (Johnson) Brown; and siblings Carmelita Markham, Douglas Brown, Junior Brown, Billy Joe Brown, George L. Brown, Johnny Joe Brown and Harvey Way.
Services were held July 7 at McCurtain Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Orr and Roy Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Siloam Springs Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Roger Hurst, Ricky Nix, Kevin Bryant, Patrik Lovell, Ben Bond and Travis Dill.
Honorary pallbearers were N.K. Williams,  Robert Petty,  Loyd Nixon, Gary Wilson,  Tommy Shimp, Carroll Huggins, Dale Barnes and Eddie Pritchard.
