Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir weekly fishing report

Below are the fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir, which were submitted on June 4.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Rising

Water temperature and clarity: Normal and murky

White crappie and black crappie: Action is fair with jigs and minnows around brush structure and standing timber.

Striped bass, white bass, striped hybrid: Action is fair with minnows and sassy shad below the dam.

Blue catfish, flathead catfish and channel catfish: Action is good with cut bait and live shad in the main lake and the river channel.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Muddy

Blue catfish: Action is excellent with live shad below the dam and near rocks, as well as noodling in Big San Bois Creek.

White crappie: Action is slow with jigs and minnows around creek channels and standing timber.

Largemouth bass: Action is fair with buzz baits, crank baits, spinner baits and top water around brush structure, weed beds and channels.
