Commissioners vote to transfer funds, keep debt payments current

Haskell County Commissioners voted unanimously to take $7,400 from the general fund and place it in an escrow account which provides funds for the jail debt. That decision was made during Monday’s commissioners meeting, and will make the county current in its payments to the escrow account, said Randy Harrison, a former member of the jail advisory board.
