Stigler Panthers seeking improvement with realigned defense

Stigler’s softball team hopes to raise its performance after going 9-19 last season. With another year of experience for the players and a second year under coach Doug Cagle, the Panthers hope to be stronger. “Our pitching is more established. We’ve become more experienced. I think it’s going to be better,” Cagle said. Whereas the Panthers struggled to key in on a starting pitcher last year, sophomore Sarah Busse is carving a role as she improves with greater pitching velocity.
