Betty Ross

Betty Ann Ross of Stigler passed away Aug. 7, 2016, in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 76. She was born Oct. 29, 1939, in Madison, Wis., to Clarence and Edith Bare. She is survived by her husband, Meril Ross of the home; two daughters, Lisa Driskill and husband Randy of Yates Center, Kan., Ada Underhill and husband, Tony of Checotah; one step-daughter, Renee Wininger and husband Robert of Wichita, Kan.; four sons, Kenneth Swart and wife Lora of Haysville, Kan.; Nick Swart and wife Doris, of Topeka, Kan., James Swart and wife, Kelly of Wichita, Kan., Donald Swart and wife Joyce of Wichita, Kan.; two step-sons, Donnie Ross and wife, Brenda, of Ft. Smith, Ark., Wayne Ross and wife, Lisa, of California; 23 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edith Bare; eight siblings; and one grandson, Kyle Swart. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
