Winners of Scarecrow Contest chosen

Winners of the Scarecrow Contest were announced during Stigler’s Hwy 9 Rod and Custom Fest on Saturday, Oct. 23:

Winners were:  
First Place - Sharpe’s Department Store.
Second Place - Farmers State Bank.
Third Place - Central National Bank.
Peoples’ Choice - Stigler Flower Box.

Participating businesses along Main Street and Broadway placed their scarecrows on display in front of their businesses.
Other businesses, organizations and individuals were invited to enter the contest and place their scarecrows in front of Haskell County Courthouse or at Veterans Park in downtown Stigler.
The annual contest was hosted by the Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce.
