Will you be included in Haskell County's Advantage?

The Stigler News-Sentinel staff is just weeks away from completing this year's Advantange, Your Go-To Guide to Haskell County, which focuses on highlighting the many positives opportunities Haskell County offers.

Advantage also provides one of the best advertising values in southeast Oklahoma. The annual magazine is included in a Stigler News-Sentinel publication – in print and online. It is also available year-round at the Stigler News-Sentinel office, the Choctaw Nation Travel Plaza, and Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, copies are distributed at marketing events throughout the state.

“It’s a quality magazine. I take it everywhere I go,” Janice Williams, executive director of the Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce, said during a recent chamber luncheon. “It’s a great opportunity for every business in Haskell County,” Williams added.

This year’s publication will include: Community profiles; information about state, municipal, county, state and federal offices; a directory of chamber of commerce members; information from Stigler’s city manager about the state of the city; highlights about the Stigler Sports and Recreation program; a message from the chamber; and much more.

Each business and organization that chooses to be a part of the publication will have the opportunity to share their message in an individual ad and in the Advertising Directory.

“This is our largest special publication of the year,” explained Summer Long, publisher and advertising manager of the Stigler News-Sentinel. “We appreciate the opportunity to partner with the chamber of commerce in promoting the many highlights of Haskell County.”

The advertising deadline for Advantage is Feb. 6 and the magazine is scheduled to be included in the Stigler News-Sentinel in March.
