Week of the Young Child April 16-20, program planned for Wednesday

A program in recognition of the Week of the Young Child will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 at Roye Park.
The Week of the Young Child began April 16 and continues through Friday, April 20. It is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
The purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
