UPDATE: McCurtain man turns himself in, sheriff says

Officials seek help locating man, stolen guns

The Haskell County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help in their search for a man they believe is involved in the thefts of two shotguns and eluding officials, according to Haskell County Sheriff Tim Turner.

Charges have been filed and an arrest warrant has been issued for Dalton Hunter, 24, of McCurtain, Haskell County District Court records state. Hunter is charged with burglary in the third degree (two counts), endangering others while eluding/attempting to elude police officer and possession of stolen vehicle.

We are actively seeking Hunter with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service,” Turner said. Officials are also searching for the stolen guns.
