Two arrested in connection with money laundering investigation

Two people were arrested and marijuana was confiscated in Haskell County last week in connection with an investigation of a Chinese money laundering organization, according to local authorities.
On June 9, the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office,  in conjunction with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)-McAlester Resident Office and DEA-Denver coordinated the execution of multiple search and arrest warrants in Colorado and Haskell County on an illegal marijuana drug trafficking organization operating in both states, according to a media release.
