Students attend Boys State

Four local students who will be high school seniors next year were sent as delegates by American Legion Post 22 to Oklahoma Boys State May 25 to June 1 at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami.
Local delegates who attended were Remington Fioretti, Triston Gonzalez, Russell Boatman and Mason Peery. Boys State is conducted annually and is presented by the American Legion to foster leadership and patriotism in youth men and teach them about government. Financial sponsors for the delegates were Mike Butler with 1st National Bank and Jeremy Warren with Sans Bois Home Health.
