Stigler teacher arrested

On Oct. 14, 2018, the Stigler Police Department received a complaint that Stigler Public School's teacher, William Self, Jr. (DOB: 08/1971), was having an inappropriate relationship with a female student, according to a press release from the Haskell County Sheriff's Office.

The Stigler Police Department and Haskell County Sheriff's Office promptly began a joint investigation into the matter. Upon determining that Mr. Self was possibly sending inappropriate images and arranging to meet with the minor, he was contacted and interviewd by the joint team of Stigler Police Department, Haskell County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.

Following the interview William Self, Jr. was booked into the Haskell County Criminal Justice Center on a complaint of: Soliciting Sexual Conduct or Communication wiith Minor by use of Technology.
