Stigler speech team qualifies for regionals

The Stigler Speech and Drama Team competed in the qualifying tournament this past weekend in Quinton. They had nine students qualify for the Regional Tournament and swept two events. 

Winners include: first place Monologue – Scout Powell, second place Monologue – Canyon Dean, third place Monologue – Ireland Fitzer, first place Humorous Duet – Emma Goodman and Emma Upton, second place Humorous Duet – Scout Powell and Chris Wier, third place Humorous Duet – Cole Highfill and Ridge McClary and first place Dramatic Duet – Julianna Nixon and Cheyenne Jenkins. 

All of these students will be traveling to Regionals to try to qualify for the state tournament.
