Stigler Panthers take down the Pocola Indians

The Stigler boys varsity basketball team went head to head with the Pocola Indians and won with the final score reading 70-32, for a Panthers win. The Panthers came out with a 23-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and continued to widen that gap between the two teams in the second quarter by scoring 13 to Pocola’s 16 points, pushing the total score to 36-18. Coming back after half-time, the Panthers continued to dominate the field, scoring an additional 24 points to Pocola’s 8 points and in the final stretch of the game, the Panthers scored another 16 points to Pocola’s six.
