Stigler 4-H club delivers baskets, sings carols

This was Stigler 4-H club’s fifth year to make and deliver Christmas baskets to a local neighborhood. The project has grown tremendously, but what makes it most special, is that the baskets, ingredients, cards, wrapping of baskets, etc., are all provided and completed by local 4-H members, explained Shawna Hudspeth, one of the 4-H leaders. Haskell County Sheriff Tim Turner joined the group this year, and provided a ham for each of the 24 baskets that were delivered. Members of the 4-H club sang Christmas carols at the local nursing home the same day they delivered the baskets.
