Shop Stigler campaign supports local businesses, offers shoppers chances to win cash drawings

The Shop Stigler campaign will continue through Friday, Dec. 18.

The annual campaign encourages shoppers to make purchases locally and offers them the chance to win one of three cash drawings.

For every $10 spent at a participating business, shoppers receive one ticket. The shopper will keep one half of each ticket. The other half of each ticket must be submitted back to participating merchants. 

The merchants will then deliver it to the Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce, where it will be entered in the drawings. The chamber will accept tickets for the drawing from merchants only.

The deadline to make purchases at participating businesses and be eligible for the drawings is 7 p.m. Dec. 18.

The drawings will begin at noon on Saturday, Dec. 19 at the gazebo on the Haskell County Courthouse lawn. The drawings will be for $250, $500 and $1,000. Participants must have their halves of the tickets and be present at the drawings in order to win a drawing.

All shoppers are encouraged to follow the guidelines focused on reducing the spread of COVID-19 - wear masks, social distance and wash hands regularly and thoroughly with alcohol-based rub or soap and water.
