Shop Stigler campaign draws to a close

The Shop Stigler campaign came to a close on Friday, Dec. 14 with the cash drawings taking place the next day on Saturday, Dec. 15. 

Chamber representatives served hot chocolate, wassail and coffee before and after the drawings. 

Businesses that participated in the Shop Stigler campaign, which began the day after Thanksgiving, provided coupons for each $10 spent in their stores. On two “Tinsel Tuesdays,” double coupons were handed out. 

Each coupon represented a chance for a participating shopper to win one of the three drawings on Saturday.

The first cash drawing was won by Jennifer Spears of Quinton. She won $250. The winner of the second drawing for $500 was Imogene Wind of Stigler. Robert Kilpatrick, of Enterprise won the last cash drawing of $1,000.

“I would like to thank the merchants and Haskell County citizens for participating in the Shop Stigler Campaign,” said Janice Williams, executive director of the Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce. “ It is a privilege for the Chamber to be able to provide the Shop Stigler cash drawings. Three lucky shoppers are having an even merrier Christmas than they had anticipated.”
