SGS students to compete in Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee

Representing Stigler Elementary School in the 2022 Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee will be Isaac Berger and Dominik Wood.

They earned the top two spots in the local Spelling Bee that was held among the Stigler fourth grade students on March 4. Earning the spot of alternate was Kynli Sloan. She will attend in the event that the Champion or Runner-Up cannot attend. 

Local Champion Isaac Berger and Runner-Up Dominik Wood will get a chance to compete at the Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee that will be held at the Muskogee Civic Center on Friday, April 22.

These students will have a chance to win a variety of prizes throughout the night, medals, and even cash prizes for the winner and runner-up.  The grand prize giveaway for the event champion will be a $1,000 prize for their school, and a $500 cash prize.
