Sales tax, use tax disbursements received

Cities received a total of $154.6 million in the distribution of sales tax collections and counties received $25.1 million this month , according to the Oklahoma Tax commission.
The December distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from October business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported this period represent sales from Oct.16 to 31 and estimated sales from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15.
The disbursement of $154,648,811 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected a decrease of $4,830,778 from the $159,479,589 distributed to the cities and towns in December last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and towns was $26,747,038.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $25,051,185 sales tax disbursement and a $4,960,128 use tax disbursement.
Below are the totals of sales and use tax disbursements that the Oklahoma Tax Commission deposited into the bank accounts of Haskell County, and area cities and towns this month, plus the disbursements deposited in December 2019:

* Haskell County received $180,780.80 this month and $208,282.17 in December 2019.

* Stigler received $219,249.99 this month and $203,497.61 in December 2019.

* Whitefield received $6,222.82 this month and $5,897.22 in December 2019.

* Keota received $12,614.92 this month and $8,340.04 in December 2019. (Sales tax only in 2019.)

* Kinta received $4,401.94 this month and $4,610.73 in December 2019.

* McCurtain received $6,508.29 this month and $3,875.15 in December 2019. (Sales tax only in 2019).

* Tamaha received $159.41 this month and $313.85 in December 2019 (Sales tax only).

* Quinton received $23,940.94 this month and $32,480.94 in December 2019.

* Porum received $18,480.57 this month and $20,398.75 in December 2019.
