Quinton High School wins Latta Tournament

 The Quinton High School Speech and Debate Team traveled to Latta High School on Dec. 6 and 7.

The Friday (Dec. 6) debate results by Quinton students were: Lincoln Douglas Debate; Ian Leon - first, Gabrielle Saunders - second, and Caden Williams - third; Team Debate, Brett Boland and Luke Lipska - first, and Trey Jessen and Brenyn Sanford - second. 

The speech events occurred the following day, and the Quinton placings were: Amanda Sims - first in Original Oratory and third in Poetry; Jace Hall - second in Humorous Interpretation and third in Prose, Luke Lipska - first in Domestic Extemporaneous, Caden Williams - second in Domestic Extemp and Shane Haviland - first in Poetry. 

All of these wins added up to Quinton High School winning the 3A Championship Trophy.
