Quinton FFA attends leadership camp

The Quinton FFA chapter was represented at the 47th annual Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp at the Tulakogee Conference Center on Fort Gibson Lake near Wagoner last week. More than 1,600 FFA members from over 300 Oklahoma FFA chapters are registered to attend one of four, three half-day sessions.

The Quinton FFA members that attended were Grace Williams and Caden Williams. The 2019 camp engaged FFA members in fun-filled, action-packed activities focused on personal, team and service leadership.

The FFA and FFA Alumni are an integral part of the agricultural education division within the Oklahoma CareerTech system.

The primary aim of the Oklahoma FFA Alumni Association is to provide a strong, efficient, statewide organization to promote, serve, and support agricultural education and the FFA.

Pictured are Quinton FFA members Grace Williams and Caden Williams in various activities at FFA Alumni Camp. They participated with their Small Groups in activities such as Trust Falls, Water Olympics, Team Building Ropes Courses, plus developing their own personal leadership skills. There were times for personal reflections and goal setting as well as building their confidence moving forward.
