Parade features awards, visit from Santa

Children and adults lined the street and enjoyed the town of McCurtain’s Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 15.

The parade was originally scheduled for Dec. 8, but was rescheduled due to a severe weather forecast.

The parade did not feature floats, 4-wheelers, bicycles or horses due to the rescheduling, however that did not prevent participants and spectators from enjoying the event.

Santa Claus visited with children and posed for photos with them at McCurtain City Hall following the parade.
