Meeting planned to discuss fundraiser for hospital employees

A Hospital Fundraising Organizational Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13 at Kiamichi Technology Center, Meeting Room A, at 1 p.m., according to Janice Williams, executive director of Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce.
Williams said she has been approached by several individuals regarding organizing a fundraiser for the hospital employees.
Individuals attending are asked to bring ideas for fundraisers and a willingness to help. She added that the chamber of commerce is a 501 C-6, which means they are not tax exempt. “So, we will need to discuss if there is a 501 C-3 willing to help out,” she explained.
