Keota to host Choctaw Cultural Celebration, benefiting UNITED

At Keota's Alvin Powell Field on Saturday, Choctaw culture will combine with community spirit for a celebration to benefit the UNITED: Haskell County Courthouse Renovation Project.

The celebration will be 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and will have Choctaw cultural demonstrations, local artists, food, music, games and raffles. The raffle winners for a Golden Boy rifle and a kayak will be announced on site.

In addition to the cultural demonstrations, people can enjoy stick ball, handcrafted art and more.
