Haskell County Sheriff's office shut down another illegal marijuana grow on Thursday, according to Sheriff Terry Garland. County deputies and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents pulled approximately 10,000 marijuana plants, which were then hauled off and destroyed. The plants were found a couple of miles south of Whitefield.
The sheriff thanks Commissioner Larry Watson (District 2) for helping authorities destroy the illegal plants.
Garland added that authorities are actively investigating other illegal grows in the county.
