Hospital payroll not received; management to change

Major changes are underway at Haskell County Community Hospital.

Hospital employees were not paid as scheduled today, Feb. 15, CEO Don Buchanan said.

Funds for payroll will be in the bank on Tuesday, Feb. 19, according to Buchanan. Payroll will be provided by the hospital's new management company.

The hospital is currently managed by Empower HMS. Over the weekend, iHealthcare Inc. will take over management of the hospital. Buchanan said.

“I think this is a positive change and we will see improved corporate management,” Buchanan said.
