Haskell County Health Department welcomes new coordinating nurse

The Haskell County Health Department recently welcomed new Coordinating Nurse Traci Payne.
Payne is a registered nurse with 24 years of nursing experience. As a coordinating nurse, Payne will oversee daily clinic operations, and will coordinate health services within the health department.
“We are pleased to have Traci in this lead nursing position,” said Tina R. Johnson, MPH, RN, Assistant Deputy Commissioner and Regional Director. “She consistently demonstrates the ability to provide compassionate care to those she serves, and has a real heart for the community.”
The Haskell County Health Department offers a variety of services to the public including:
 * WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Program
 * Family Planning (Pregnancy testing, annual exams, birth control, family planning education)
 * Immunizations
 * STD/STI Services
 * Consumer Protection
 * Health Education
 * Children First – Oklahoma’s Nurse-Family Partnership
Some services are provided at no cost, while others are offered on a sliding scale fee based on family size and income. However, it is important to note that no one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
