Quinton’s Police Chief has been fired. Following a three-hour executive session behind closed doors on Monday, Aug. 29, members of the Board of Trustees voted to terminate Police Chief Joe Watts for the following reasons; falsifying work hours and records, compelled subordinates to falsify time clock records, giving false information to superiors and receiving pay for hours not worked, according to minutes from the meeting.
