First National Bank merger with Firstar Bank approved

First National Bank of Stigler’s plans to merge with Firstar Bank have received regulatory approval. The bank name officially changed on April 1.
The partnership announced last fall, will combine the resources of leading banks in Haskell, Muskogee, and Sequoyah Counties.
