Entering the annual scarecrow contest?

It’s time to make preparations to participate in the Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce’s annual scarecrow contest, according to Janice Williams, executive director of the chamber.
Scarecrows can be on display as early as Oct. 21, and must be on display by Oct. 22 to qualify to be judged.
Winners will be chosen by judges, and also by popular vote online, Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 23-25. Scarecrows must be removed by Nov. 1.
Scarecrows must be on display at the following locations in order to be included in the contest: Haskell County Courthouse lawn, Veterans Park, Main Street/state Highway 9 (in the city limits) and Broadway Street.
Individuals and businesses may participate in the contest. Registration forms must be completed and submitted to the chamber in order to participate in the contest.
