Election board: Residents must submit correct voter registration form
In addition to encouraging area residents to be aware of the mailing from the “OKVOTE” Organization, Haskell County Election Board Secretary Rhonda Hurst is cautioning county residents to make sure they submit the correct, current voter registration form.
“Until recently, some area agencies have had available for public use some very old, obsolete voter registration forms that do not require a driver’s license number or Social Security number, which causes the voter’s registration to be rejected, Hurst told the Stigler News-Sentinel. “If this happens, the County Election Board automatically sends a notification to the voter that the information submitted was lacking and they send a new voter registration to the voter that must be submitted.”
