Election board to relocate temporarily (UPDATE)

Plans are underway for the Haskell County Election Board to relocate temporarily; and an asbestos abatement and testing have been completed in the current election board office.
The election board is currently located behind the county courthouse. A portion of the building where the election board is currently located is being remodeled. The construction project will also include adding on to that structure. The new space will be used for the county clerk’s office and OSU Extension offices and meeting room. Once construction is completed, the election board is scheduled to operate from its current location.
