Deadline to request absentee ballots Wednesday, March 29

Less than a week remains for registered voters in Haskell County to apply for absentee ballots to be mailed to them for the April 4 municipal elections, Haskell County Election Board Secretary Rhonda Hurst said.
Applications for absentee ballots must be received by the county election board no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, to be processed in time for the election.
Municipal elections are scheduled in Keota, McCurtain, Whitefield, Quinton and Porum.
Absentee voters may apply in person at the county election board office or electronially at www.elections.ok.gov.
