Daniels retires, shares details of life-changing events

Current and former co-workers, family members and others honored Joe Daniels at a retirement party recently, as he retired from the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission. “It was such an honor to have people show up and bless me with kind words,” Daniels said about the event which was organized by his wife, Denice.

Daniels had been employed with the commission since January 1992. After working at a couple of other locations with the agency, he helped open the McAlester office in 2007.

The complete story is in this week's paper.
