County, city offices remain closed due to COVID-19
While some City of Stigler and Haskell County offices remain closed to the public due to COVID-19, employees continue to offer services to area residents.
Some employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 and others who have been exposed to the virus are quarantined, while other employees not affected by the virus are working from their offices.
Guidelines focused on reducing the spread of COVID-19 are in place at all offices, according to officials.
Officials are offering the following information for individuals who need assistance.
City of Stigler
City Hall remains closed to the public.
Utility payments may be placed in the drop box near the front entrance and individuals needing additional assistance may contact City Hall at 918-967-2164, according to Bobby Mouser, city manager.
Individuals who need to contact the police department regarding non-emergency issues may call 918-967-3378.
Information is also posted on the city’s website, www.stiglerok.net.
County
The Haskell County Courthouse remains closed to the public.
A drop box on the east side of the courthouse can be used to submit documents to any of the offices, according to Sandra Zachry, District 2 commissioner. The drop box is checked several times each day.
The three county barns are open.
Sheriff’s office/jail
Haskell County Sheriff’s office and the jail are closed to the public, but normal operations are being conducted, according to Sheriff Tim Turner.
Individuals who need assistance with non emergency issues may call 918-967-2400.
They may also use the speaker in the lobby to request assistance.
