Coordinated effort

A large portion of State Highway 9/Main Street in Stigler is much cleaner, thanks to coordinated efforts of the county sheriff's office, Stigler Police and the City of Stigler.
Stigler Police Lt. Jeremy French arranged for inmates from the Haskell County jail to help clean up Stigler by mowing and weeding the curbs from the Dollar Store to Choctaw Travel Place on Main Street this week. The City of Stigler provided a front loader and a dump truck to remove the dirt and grass.
