Newly-elected U.S. Rep. Josh Brecheen speaks at the monthly Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19. Brecheen, a Republican, was sworn in and began representing Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional district earlier this year. He served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018 and is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation. The majority of Brecheen’s comments during the chamber luncheon focused on his concerns regarding the national debt.
