Cadet Lawman Academy training set for June 6,7

Lake John Wells will once again be the location for some of the training provided by Cadet Lawman Academy.

Students and instructors will be at the lake on Monday and Tuesday (June 6 and 7), learning about water enforcement activities and procedures involved in conducting traffic stops.

The annual academy is sponsored by the Oklahoma Highway Patrtol, Oklahoma State Troopers Association and the Oklahoma Elks Majors Project, according to a press release.

Lake John Wells has been the scene for some of the academy's training for several years.

There will be several law enforcement vehicles traveling through Stigler during the training sessions.
