Aug. 26 COVID-19 report

A total of 152 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Haskell County. There have been three deaths and 80 individuals have recovered, according to the Aug. 25 report from the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
The report also provided information regarding the cases in individual municipalities in the county:

In Stigler, 105 confirmed positive cases have been reported. Two individuals have died and 49 individuals have recovered.
In Keota, 22 confirmed positive cases have been reported. Sixteen individuals have recovered.
In Kinta, eight confirmed positive cases have been reported. Four individuals have recovered.
In McCurtain, 10 confirmed positive cases have been reported. One person has died and nine individuals have recovered.
In Whitefield, three confirmed positive cases have been reported. One person has recovered.
The report provided the following statewide information: 54,838 confirmed positive cases, 763 deaths, 7,661 active cases and 46,414 recoveries.

The report also included the following information regarding the numbers being reported in the county versus the individual municipalities:
“We publish COVID-19 data daily, however the numbers reflect a situation that is constantly changing. As more information is known (e.g. home address/city/county of a person identified as a case, etc.), updates are made to the data on a daily basis. As COVID-19 data move into our reporting system, it can take a few days to fully investigate and verify the information. We aim to provide accurate data based on what is known on a given day. This is why various totals (for example: city, zip code, and county case totals) may not always align.”
