Arts and craft fair set for Nov. 7

The annual arts and craft fair, which will be presented by VFW Post 4446 Auxiliary, will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The event will be conducted at the VFW Post, on state Highway 9, two miles west of Stigler.
This will be the first year that outdoor booths and food trucks will be included in the event, according to Kathryn Moncrief, who is organizing the event with Nancy Moncrief.
All indoor booths have been reserved, however several outdoor booths are still available, Moncrief said.
The 10 x 10 feet booths can be reserved for $10 before Oct. 24 or $20 after that date, Moncrief explained.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m., however, Moncrief said vendors are encouraged to stay later if possible.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the VFW Auxiliary. “The VFW supports local youth organizations and scholarships. The auxiliary backs up the VFW,” Moncrief said.To reserve a booth or for more information, contact Nancy Moncrief at 918-441-1817 or Kathryn Moncrief at 918-441-5329.
