Stigler Booster Club
The Stigler Booster Club meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month. Everyone is encouraged to attend and join the club.
Stigler ‘00 reunion
The Stigler class of 2000 will have its 10-year reunion on June 18. Addresses for the class are needed. If you are a member of the class or know someone that is and have an address, e-mail it to stiglerclassof2000@yahoo.com or call 405-812-5733.
Stigler Little League meeting
There will be a Stigler Little League baseball meeting Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Stigler Community Center. Anyone interested in coaching is invited to attend.
Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library will have their first meeting on Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stigler Community Center. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come and help plan fundraising events and help on committees. This group is being organized to support the library. Community School classes
There are three new Community School classes starting next week. Basic guitar will start Feb. 4, 6:30-7:30 p.m. for six weeks, in the Stigler High School Commons area. Need a standard guitar. Beginning basic cake decorating, will start Feb. 4, 7-8:30 p.m. for three weeks, in the Stigler Middle School cafeteria. Call for a supply list. Yoga will start Feb. 1 and Feb 4, you may choose a once-a-week or twice-a-week session, 6:30-7:30 p.m. for six weeks, in the Stigler Middle School gym. Bring your yoga mat. SGS kindergarten enroll
Stigler kindergarten enrollment for school year 2010-2011 will be April 1, 8:30-11:15 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. at the Stigler Public Schools administration office, 309 NW E St. For more information, call Stigler Grade School, 967-8835.
BACA Child Fair
The Fifth Annual BACA Child Fair will be Saturday at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is free to the public, tons of fun for kids of all ages. For more information, contact Ninny at 918-448-1670 or e-mail Tink at mw_64@yahoo.com.
Firefighter training dates
Russellville Area Volunteer Fire Department has set required firefighter training dates for the 2010 year. The classes will be the first Saturday of each month from 9-11 a.m. or the third Thursday of each month from 6-9 p.m. For more information, call 918-469-2202 or 918-698-4845.
Quinton Little League meeting

TOPS meetings
Take Off Pounds Sensibly, or TOPS, No. OK 624, meets at 6 p.m. every Monday at the First Baptist Church of Quinton. Weigh-in is at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join this support group for losing weight. For more information, call Jan at 918-841-6231.
Weight loss support group
Praying For a Change is a faith-based weight loss support group. This group meets every Monday from 5:30-6:15 p.m. at the Stigler Community Building. There is no charge. A $1 donation can be put in the kitty and then the biggest loser gets the kitty at the end of each month. Come join us. Playing and singing
