McCurtain honors 2004 state tourney team

McCurtain Public Schools honors the 2004 Class B girls state tournament team on Jan. 30 at halftime of the girls game. Forgan defeated McCurtain 38-32 in the first round of state. The team went 20-11, Head Coach was Darrick Farriell and Assistant Coach was Casey Butcher. The 2004 team was the first girls team to advance to the state tournament in school history, they have since went twice (2005 and 2020.) Pictured, are a few members of the 2004 from left, Coach Darrick Farriell, Sarah Scarberry, Jessica Dill and Kirsten Siegrist.
