Fishing reports - April 5

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir 

Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 59°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level)

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, hot dogs, minnows, shad, sunfish, worms around below the dam, main lake, points, tailwater. 

Black crappie and white crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows around below the dam, coves, shorelines, tailwater, weed beds.

White bass good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, small lures around below the dam, channels, creek channels, river channel.

Eufaula Lake 

Elevation is 1 ft. above normal (stable), water temperature 59°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level)

Striped bass, striped hybrid bass and white  bass good on crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits around below the dam, creek channels, tailwater.

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, live shad, shad, sunfish around channels, river channel, river mouth.

Black crappie and white crappie excellent on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, spoons around brush structure, creek channels, docks, rocks.
